The great heritage of Chinese Culture is the crystallisation of the wisdom of the Chinese nation. Over many millennia, the richness of Chinese Culture has not only permeated the history of Chinese civilisation and the lives of generations of Chinese people, but has also had a tremendous impact on the history and culture of the Western world, particular after the opening of “Silk Road” in the Han Dynasty.
Throughout history, Chinese culture has also continually renewed itself, giving rise to numerous sages, scientific and technological inventions and artistic gems. The interplay of diverse regional cultures and ethnic cultures is further testament to the all-encompassing and tolerant nature of the Chinese culture. In contemporary China, a brand new cultural landscape is adding new colours of the rainbow of world cultural diversity.
