On February 1st SACFS are hosting a stall in Gouger St at the Chinese New Year Street Party which runs from midday until 9.30pm.
The ACFSSA will be situated near the lions and Honey the koala will be making appearances during that time with our committee member Rae and other members.
Every week between 7 and 10 koalas are killed on the South Eastern Freeway between the Heysen tunnels and the Bridgewater turnoff. To stop this slaughter, we need a koala crossing, as every other state has done on many roads in Australia.
The ACFSSA are fundraising on the day towards building a koala crossing. We’d love to see you there and make a donation if you can please. Thank you.
